Earphunk, a “prog-funk” onslaught from New Orleans, will head back on the road this winter fresh from cross-country touring in support of their latest studio release, Sweet Nasty. The 17-date tour kicks off with a hometown stop the day after Christmas at the famed Tipitina’s. The 2014 leg of the tour continues on to Texas with a stop in Houston and then to Austin for a special New Year’s Eve performance at the Empire Control Room. In 2015, Earphunk continues their run with stops throughout the Southeast including dates in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, The Carolinas, Florida, and Tennessee. A full list of tour dates are below.

Earphunk are also excited to announce two dates opening for seminal New Orleans funk group The Meter Men featuring Page McConnell of Phish at The Joy Theater the first weekend of Jazz Fest on April 24th and 25th, 2015. Featuring original members of The Meters – drummer Zigaboo Modeliste, guitarist Leo Nocentelli, and bassist George Porter Jr. – The Meter Men are known as trailblazers in the New Orleans music scene. Earphunk are honored to represent the new sound of funk during this noteworthy weekend of music.
