LETTUCE, whose latest album Elevate is nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at the GRAMMY® Awards later this month, have revealed the details for RAGE!FEST 2020, the acclaimed band’s annual Jazz Fest After Show in New Orleans. The 5th annual event will take place Saturday, April 25th at the Orpheum Theater and feature support from The Motet and Louis Cole Big Band. Tickets are available now; PRESS HERE for details and to purchase.

“We couldn’t be more excited for our 5th annual Rage!Fest this year in New Orleans during Jazz Fest!,” shares Lettuce. “We have our good friends The Motet with us. We will also have the Louis Cole Big Band, which should be really, really awesome, if you are not familiar. There is always something special about Jazz Fest…and we never know which of our musical friends might spontaneously join us.”

Genre-defying funk-jazz-soul-hip-hop-psychedelic-jam-art-rock-experimental-avant-garde music titans Lettuce – drummer and percussionist Adam Deitch, guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes, keyboardist and vocalist Nigel Hall, saxophonist Ryan Zoidis and trumpet player Eric “Benny” Bloom – are currently touring in support of their Grammy-nominated sixth studio album Elevate, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Album Chart and #1 on the iTunes R&B Albums Chart. The esteemed honor marks the sextet’s first as a collective in their nearly three decades together. Elevate, available via their own Lettuce Records, has been streamed over 2 million times and features the singles “Krewe” and “Everybody Wants To Rule the World,” their jazzy take on the Tears For Fears hit featuring the band’s keyboardist Nigel Hall on vocals. PRESS HERE to watch the official video for “Everybody Wants To Rule the World” and PRESS HERE to listen to Elevate.

Lettuce’s ever-changing and all-inclusive musical palette is often praised for the way it blurs lines and smashes together genres into exciting and compelling art – drawing acclaim from everyone from NPR, New York Times, Consequence of Sound and Billboard to BrooklynVegan, Earmilk, HipHopDX and Relix. A powerhouse collective made up of world-class master musicians, the members of Lettuce are also some of the most highly sought-after musicians in the industry with roots that run deep into the worlds of hip-hop, pop, and beyond, working and performing alongside the likes of Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Justin Timberlake, The Fugees, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Britney Spears, DJ Quik, Gary Clark Jr., Skrillex, The Game, Talib Kweli, Anthony Hamilton, Solange, Chaka Khan, Redman & Method Man, Robin Thicke, Preservation Hall, Dave Matthews Band, Gov’t Mule, Bob Weir, John Mayer, Aaron Neville, and more.

Lettuce resumes its headlining Elevate Tour on January 22nd in Tulsa. See below for all upcoming tour dates and visit www.lettucefunk.com for ticketing details, including VIP information to Elevate the experience.

Denver-based ensemble The Motet – Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), Ryan Jalbert (guitar), Lyle Divinsky (vocals), Drew Sayers (saxophone), Parris Fleming (trumpet) – fuse boisterous badass funk and swaggering soul with thought-provoking pop as evidenced on their latest album, Death or Devotion. Their critically-acclaimed ninth studio album, available via their own label, is a killer collection of feel good grooves including the singles “Highly Compatible,” “That Dream,” “Get It Right” and “Supernova.” PRESS HERE to listen to Death Or Devotion and visit www.themotet.com for more information.

Singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Louis Cole, one half of the Los Angeles duo Knower, is touring behind his third album Time and its sister EP Live Sesh & Xtra Songs. Time, available via Flying Lotus’ label Brainfeeder, features appearances from Cole’s friend Thundercat, Knower’s Genevieve Artadi, and acclaimed jazz pianist and experimental composer Brad Mehldau. With a mission “to create deep feelings through music,” his comedic YouTube videos aren’t far from the real thing. Viral video favorites like “F It Up” mirror his live big band show experience, featuring LA’s best instrumentalists seen creating hot funk whilst crammed into his modest living room. Louis Cole’s Big Band – Louis Cole (drums), Nicolas Semrad (keys), Frederico Heliodoro (bass), Henry Solomon (baritone sax), Vikram Devasthali (trombone), Jon Hatamiva (trombone), Zach Ramacier (trumpet), Shai Golan (alto sax), Jon Keuch (tenor sax), Rob Sheppard (flute), Genevieve Artadi (vocals), Chiquita Magic (vocals) – follows in similar fashion: weird, wild and wonderful.
