Head For The Hills release “Darkness Meets the Day”, the first track off their new EP, Say Your Mind, Out March 22.
In support of their new EP, the band will be hitting the road, making stops from coast to coast including NYC, Burlington, and Chicago, plus a special home state EP release celebration show in Colorado at eTown Hall in Boulder. The band will also perform at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre just outside of their home town of Fort Collins, CO for their 15th Annual offering of Pickin’ on the Poudre on May 11th.
Say Your Mind was recorded at Swingfingers Studios in Fort Collins, CO. The band brought in several guest musicians for this recording, including Darren Garvey on drums (Elephant Revival), Todd Livingston on dobro and lap steel, Kim Dawson on vocals (Matador! Soul Sounds, Pimps of Joytime), Mike Tallman on Electric Guitar (Euforquestra, Color Red), James Thomas on keys, and a full horn section.
