Compass Records has announced the eagerly anticipated debut album from award-winning songwriter-guitarist Molly Tuttle. When You’re Ready arrives everywhere on Friday, April 5th.

When You’re Ready is heralded by the powerful “Take The Journey,” streaming now at Tuttle’s official YouTube channel HERE following its exclusive premiere earlier today via Rolling Stone Country.

“I sat down with Sarah Siskind one afternoon in East Nashville and we wrote this song,” Tuttle told Rolling Stone Country. “We wanted to write a song with a modal feel, and as we were writing I started messing around with a claw hammer guitar part in a modal G tuning. To me this song is about the Hero’s Journey, a story arc that we see in books and movies. I think everyone has some form of Hero’s Journey in their own lives as well.”

Tuttle will celebrate the long awaited arrival of When You’re Ready with a special album release showcase, set for April 3rd at The Basement East in Nashville, TN. In addition, the 2018 Americana Music Award-winner for “Instrumentalist of the Year” has slated an epic range of live dates across the U.S. and the U.K., including a featured role on the venerable Transatlantic Sessions traveling folk festival.
