Sister Sparrow releases new single, “Bad Habit”

Sister Sparrow has released the new single, “Bad Habit,” off of her forthcoming album, Gold, out October 12th on Thirty Tigers. The single is the follow up to “Ghost” and the title track, “Gold.” Listen HERE.

The new album, Gold, takes the classic soul-rock sound created by Sister Sparrow and her brass-fueled combo, The Dirty Birds, and turns it into something altogether new, a soul-blasted contemporary pop approach supremely suited for Kincheloe’s immense voice and even greater vision. Produced and co-written in collaboration with Carter Matschullat (Chef’Special, Secret Weapons) at Brooklyn’s DØØM Studio, the new album sees Sister Sparrow expressing herself like never before. The first single, “Ghost,” was released in early August, accompanied by a unique “lyric” video featuring the lyrics displayed as emojis, which is already approaching 100K views on YouTube. An official video for “Ghost” will be released soon. Watch the lyric video.

In support of Gold, Sister Sparrow is currently on a major U.S. tour. It’s already off to a strong start, with numerous festival appearances and a sold-out show supporting Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. Full tour dates below.
