“We wrote our new album with a large sonic palette in mind and have put together a wonderful band to tour these new songs. Playing with these musicians created an opportunity for us to re-envision some of our older songs as well. Whisper in Her Ear from our album The Ash & Clay has become a staple of our live shows, so we scheduled a stop at the National Music Centre during our trip to The Calgary Folk Festival to capture the song’s new identity in the studio there”, stated Joey Ryan if the Milk Carton Kids.

The launch of the Amazon Original “Whisper In Her Ear” follows the release of The Milk Carton Kids’ critically acclaimed new album All the Things That I Did and All the Things That I Didn’t DoNPR Music praised the album and said, “…the band’s core ingredients — not to mention a gift for warm, intricate songcraft — render The Milk Carton Kids’ records practically irresistible” while Pitchfork proclaimed it, “…the duo’s most engaging and diverse record to date.”

Amazon Music listeners can simply ask, “Alexa, play the new song by The Milk Carton Kids” in the Amazon Music app for iOS and Android and on Alexa-enabled devices, or find the track on the “Fresh Folk & Americana” playlist. In addition to the new track, Amazon Music listeners can access hundreds of Amazon Original songs and numerous albums featuring both emerging and established artists across numerous genres, available to stream and purchase on Amazon Music.
