Spring is finally here, and so is the exclusive first listen of Heritage, the new studio album from island inspired Alt-Americana quartet Dangermuffin. The Charleston, SC native’s new collection of warm and coastally-influenced tracks will officially release on March 31st, but is available today for audio preview thanks to Glide Magazine. The eight-track studio album is saturated with gentle grooves, Appalachian folk jams, and lyrics that personify the band’s deep connection with the sea and their ambition to uncover the roots from which we are all intertwined. Check out the advance listen of Heritage HERE.

“We wrote Heritage as a concept album, beginning with asking questions about our roots and finding the answers in recognizing the natural flow that always surrounds us,” reflects Dangermuffin frontman Dan Lotti. “Listening to the album from start to finish, we hope you are brought right to the shores of South Carolina, where our journey of discovery and healing via music began.”

Heritage is now available for pre-order through iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify and comes with the instant download of Dangermuffin’s lead single “Ancient Family”. Be sure to catch the band at a nearby stage as they begin their coast to coast album release spring tour. A full list of tour dates is below.
