Umphrey's McGee Announce Winter 2015 Tour

Just prior to the celebration of their 2000th show on November 8, Umphrey’s McGee has announced dates for their 2015 Winter Tour. The tour picks up after two nights at New York’s Beacon Theatre with the sextet kicking things off in the Deep South on January 28 in Oxford, MS. From there, Umphrey’s will head out on a coast to coast run that will end at the MNoore Theatre in Seattle on March 21. View full tour dates HERE.

Along with their 2000th show, 2014 has been a year of milestones for Umphrey’s McGee, starting with the launch of their own independent label, Nothing Too Fancy Music. In June, the band released their eighth studio album Similar Skin, which Relix called, “…the Chicago sextet’s strongest work to date.” Following the release, Umphrey’s had their debut main stage performance at Bonnaroo (their 8th appearance at the festival). Always on the cutting edge of fan-friendly technology, Umphrey’s McGee became the first act to launch the first full service, streaming site for a single artist, via And in July, the band celebrated their first-ever sold out show at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.

Recently, Umphrey’s McGee announced twelve live webcasts, billed as the “Couch Tour,” that began in October and continues in November.
