Moe. will play a sold-out “Big Lebowski” Halloween show at Las Vegas’ Brooklyn Bowl on October 31. The special annual event will be streamed via Live Downloads and include guests, Bill Payne of Little Feat, and Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman of the Trey Anastasio Band.
As Halloween nears, the band readied a new video for “Same Old Story.” The video is directed by Jay Blakesberg, who boasts work with the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Neil Young and many more and who is renowned for his ability to capture the energy in live performances, specifically for jam bands. Blakesberg will be creating a media project to commemorate the band’s 25th anniversary and he worked alongside moe. taking in-studio photos during the recording of No Guts, No Glory as well as directing the official video for “Blond Hair And Blue Eyes.” Check out the new video on Youtube.
The video for “Same Old Story” was recorded last month at the moe.down Festival and Turin Cemetery in New York. The band felt the Turin, NY festival location and cemetery would serve as the perfect backdrop for their video and coincide well with a Halloween release. The cemetery adds a spooky appeal that perfectly fits with the haunting bass line running throughout the rock song.
