Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is happy to announce that they will be playing the Glastonbury Festival June 27 and 28. This year’s Glastonbury festival takes place from 25-29 June at Worthy Farm, Somerset, England. Some of the other acts playing this year include Arcade Fire, Jack White, Metallica and the Black Keys. Glastonbury is the largest greenfield festival in the world, and is now attended by over 175,000 people.
With a reputation for their incendiary live shows, the Big Damn Band is a natural fit for festivals. Their latest album Between the Ditches has been received with great enthusiasm since its debut at #1 on the iTunes Blues chart week of release. They’ve received critical raves in the US and internationally, video play from CMT and MTVu, charting at both college and Americana radio and song placements in the hit Showtime series Shameless as well as on the shows soundtrack.
