Superfly and A.C. Entertainment have confirmed another exceptional comedy lineup for the Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival’s hugely popular Comedy Theatre. In keeping with tradition, Bonnaroo, which will take place on its 700-acre farm in Manchester, TN, from June 12 – 15, will host a dynamically diverse collection of national headlining comics at its famous air-conditioned venue, where fans get a chance to experience sets from some of the most hilarious personalities working today. “I’m excited to be performing at the 35th annual Bonnaroo food and wine festival,” joked Hannibal Buress. “It’s an honor to have Kanye West sing lowly under my comedy jokes.” Neal Brennan said, “I guess you could say the festival combines three of my greatest passions: music, comedy and porta-potties.”
The 2014 event marks the 11th year since Bonnaroo came up with the notion to add this all-important entertainment option to its already monolithic menu of events. From its inception, the Comedy Theatre has been one of Bonnaroo’s most popular attractions and has since made a palpable impact on the comedy industry as the festival is now considered to be one of the biggest comedy events in the country.
“I’m excited for the great mix of styles this year,” noted Bonnaroo’s comedy producer, Rocky Benloulou-Dubin. “I’m really looking forward to another year under the comedy big top with these hysterical heavyweights, ascending stars and the BEST audiences.”
