Butch Walker will release his first new music in two years, a 5-song EP titled ‘Peachtree Battle,’ digitally on September 17 via Dangerbird Records in the US and Lojinx in the UK. Deeply personal and full of the kind of unforgettable hooks that have earned Walker the title of “one of America’s best singer-songwriters” from Rolling Stone, the EP was produced and engineered by Walker and fellow Black Widow Jake Sinclair at RubyRed Productions in Venice, CA, and Traxidermy Studios in Nashville, TN. A limited edition vinyl pressing of the EP will be released on Oct 22 to accompany Walker’s fall US tour (full dates below).

Butch is also the subject of a new documentary, ‘Out Of Focus,’ which will premiere on digital and cable VOD 9/17 via GoDigital. Walker kicks of a sold-out joint concert/theatrical screening tour with the film this Thursday in Atlanta.

Walker’s latest album, ‘The Spade,’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and earned raves from EW to Rolling Stone. In addition to his prolific work as a recording artist, Walker has produced major hits and written songs for some of the biggest names in music today, including Pink, Train, Weezer, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, Keith Urban, and more. He was named Producer of the Year by Rolling Stone and performed alongside Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks at The Grammys.
