Shooter Jennings and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band are happy to announce a string of co-headlining tour dates throughout the U.S. this fall. The two powerhouse performers will combine their raucous live performances for one unforgettable night of music, kicking off in the Rev’s hometown of Bloomington, Indiana on Friday September 27.
Roaring out of the southern Indiana foothills, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is truly a force to be reckoned with. The trio plays a brand of Americana and blues that stands alone, breathing new life into old forms of music unlike any other band today. Their ironclad work ethic keeps them on the road 250 dates a year. Their latest album, Between The Ditches , is a chronicle of this lifestyle, with the likes of Vintage Guitar, Classic Rock Magazine, Alternative Press and Living Blues singing its praises.
Shooter Jennings, the self-described “son of a rebel saint,” released his new album, The Other Life , earlier this year to much acclaim. Shooter Jennings has worn many hats throughout his career: the hell-raising vigilante minister at a revival of true country music, the radical prophet using rock and roll as his medium, and the guiding light for an ever-growing army of young musicians who are, like Shooter himself, outsiders in today’s music business.
