Chillicothe, IL – March 8, 2012 – After a great response to last year’s inaugural Camp Counselor program, the Summer Camp Music Festival is excited to announce its return for this summer’s festival, held Memorial Day weekend May 25-27 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois.
Summer Camp Festival founder Ian Goldberg explains the basis behind the experience, “we like to think we offer adults the same break from life that we used to experience as a kid going off to Summer Camp. But we realized we were missing something: the Camp Counselor to guide you through your Summer Camp experience!”
The Summer Camp Counselor is perhaps the coolest job at the festival. The selected candidate will receive a one of a kind Summer Camp experience including:
• Two 3-day passes / Pre-Party passes / tickets to all late night shows / VIP camping
• An All Access Backstage Pass / On-stage viewing for three sets of your choice / a private acoustic show at your campsite by a Summer Camp
• A Flip video camera to record the entire experience
• Tons of swag, including a Summer Camp poster signed by a Summer Camp artist, two Summer Camp t-shirts, two Summer Camp bandanas
• The chance to introduce moe.’s first set kicking off the festival & much more
In addition to these benefits, the title of Summer Camp Counselor comes with the privilege of providing the festival with official daily written and video blog entries along with pictures they take at the festival.
Full benefits and requirements are listed at www.summercampfestival.com/community/camp-counselor-program and campers that feel up to the call, can find information on applying at www.summercampfestival.com/community /camp-counselor-program/apply-for-2012. All applicants must be 21 or older.
For those who don’t earn the top spot of Camp Counselor, Summer Camp will select other top applicants to be CITs or Counselors in Training.
