GRAMMY-winner Warren Haynes’ “scorching” (AP) 2011 continues with the announcement of a new single, “River’s Gonna Rise,” from the soul-deep album ‘Man In Motion’ out now on Stax/Concord Music Group. The single is at radio now on the heels of his Triple A Top 20 single “Man In Motion.”

The Warren Haynes Band has also extended their 2011 world tour headlining amphitheaters, theaters and festivals with a fall run that includes special Halloween shows in San Francisco, Denver, and more.

‘Man In Motion’ was inspired by Warren’s soul heroes – and he’ll pay tribute to Sly and The Family Stone and James Brown with special Halloween shows in San Fran and Denver. Continuing a beloved Gov’t Mule tradition, The Warren Haynes Band will dedicate a full set each night to the soul icons.

10/29 – The Fillmore – San Fran, CA – Halloween on the Sly (Sly and The Family Stone)
10/31 – The Ogden Theater – Denver, CO – A Funky Good Halloween with the Godfather of Soulshine (James Brown)
