Tedeschi Trucks Band "Revelator" Tour | Headlining NY's Beacon Theatre Sept. 10

Tedeschi Trucks Band, the 11-piece outfit co-led by husband and wife team Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, are currently on an extensive U.S. tour behind their critically acclaimed debut album Revelator (Sony Masterworks).  A highlight of the tour is an upcoming stop at NYC’s storied Beacon Theatre on Saturday, September 10th, a venue very familiar to the band’s members from their residencies with the Allman Brothers Band, and headlined for the first time in this incarnation.  A New Year’s Eve show at San Francisco’s Warfield has also just been announced.  Tedeschi Trucks Band debut album, Revelator,  co-produced by Derek Trucks and Jim Scott (Johnny Cash, Dixie Chicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers), is available in stores and online now.  Rolling Stone magazine awarded the album four-stars, calling it a “meaty masterpiece.”

The band, who performed the stirring “Learn How To Love” on CONAN July 19th, are premiering live footage to warm up audiences for their arrival.  HUFFINGTON POST recently premiered a live performance video of soulful rocker “Bound For Glory” and PASTE MAGAZINE just premiered the bluesy “Midnight In Harlem.”

In addition, NPR’s WORLD CAFÉ WITH DAVID DYE will re-broadcast the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s July appearance on the syndicated program on Monday, August 29th, with select affiliates airing the show additionally on Saturday, August 27th.   Listen to the performance online here.
