Bonnaroo Announces 2013 Dates; Bonnaroo 365 Grows

Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are proud to announce the dates for the 12th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Confirmed to take place June 13 – 16, 2013, the four-day festival will once again be held at the same beautiful, 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles southeast of Nashville. Special, limited ticket pre-sale information will be announced in November. A video announcing the 2013 dates was made exclusively for Bonnaroo featuring the incomparable Carrie The Dancing Merengue Dog.

After yet another unforgettable sell-out year in 2012 from what USA Today called “the godfather of American rock festivals,” Bonnaroo organizers are once again back to the drawing board, ensuring that next year’s event will have one of the most eclectic and striking lineups as well as the most diverse selection of entertainment options of any festival in the country. The breadth of the programming is consistently innovative and has become one of the key signature aspects of this legendary festival, whose uniquely open minded yet discerning and passionate community thrives on its intelligent diversity.

In 2012, Bonnaroo continued its long-history of making a strong impact on the American music industry. Rolling Stone said that the festival always makes good on its “surreal surprises,” whileBillboard called it “a major music event,” and a “rite of passage” for bands. The festival is also now a major force in the comedy world, as it has featured some of today’s best talent and is now considered to be an essential play for every comedian both established and on the rise.

Until fans arrive back in Manchester, the next best thing to being there is the unprecedented online experience at the festival’s YouTube channel, Bonnaroo 365, where fans can tap into the Bonnaroo spirit all year long.  From Jack White’s stunning surprise performance in the woods at Outside Lands to exclusive intimate performances backstage at Bonnaroo known as “The Hay Bale Sessions” (FUN. And this October, Bonnaroo 365 will take you backstage with D’Angelo for a four-part series on the most talked-about concert of the year – The Bonnaroo 2012 SuperJam; the show where D’angelo made his incredible surprise comeback performance, his first on US soil in 12 years, at an all-star show curated and led by ?uestlove from The Roots.

Bonnaroo 365 features original programming created and curated by the festival producers and is a partnership between Bonnaroo and YouTube.
