Amos Lee returned to The Late Late Show with James Corden last night for a captivating and intimate performance of “Invisible Oceans” from his lauded new album Dreamland. Celebrating the arrival of Dreamland’s just-released Deluxe Edition – which features four never-heard bonus tracks and two acoustic reworks – the performance marked Lee’s fourth on network television this year. One of the most highly-praised projects of Lee’s already-storied career, Dreamland has been hailed as a collection that “takes the listener on a rich emotional journey” (NPR) as Lee opens up about his own struggles with mental health more vulnerably than ever before.

Next week, Lee’s coast-to-coast US Dreamland tour resumes with shows through the Southeast; picking back up on October 17 in Charleston, SC and continuing through Halloween night in New Orleans. Already over 50 dates into the year-long trek, Lee’s early highlights include hallowed venues like Red Rocks in Colorado, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, The Kennedy Center in Washington DC and a special Philadelphia homecoming show at The Met. A former elementary school teacher before becoming a full-time musician, Lee has also launched a “Tickets For Teachers” program in each city on his tour; donating concert seats and classroom supplies to those nominated in their communities.
