BRIDGEPORT, CT – Gathering of the Vibes, the Northeast’s premier camping and music arts festival, is proud to announce a unique partnership with School Of Rock, the nation’s leading performance-based music school, promising to be the “must see” musical event of the summer, July 21-24, at Seaside Park, Bridgeport, CT.
School of Rock (www.schoolofrock.com) joins the Vibes Family at the “School of Rock Teen Vibes Stage.” Watch established Vibes artists from the Main and Green Vibes stages jam with the rock stars of the future, bringing the School of Rock’s unique teaching method alive for teen students from Boston to Virginia!
“School of Rock is honored to be involved with one of the most amazing music festivals on the summer circuit,” said Mark Biondi, School of Rock director of product development and All-Stars. “The opportunity to have our students watch, listen and learn from the masters while sharing the gift of music with the Vibes audience is something these kids will never forget. We can’t wait to see the magic they’ll be creating together.”

Sunday is Family Day at Gathering of the Vibes, and begins by bringing the World Peace Prayer and Flag Ceremony (www.worldpeace.org) back to Seaside. New this year and overlooking the Long Island Sound, kids of all ages can now view this majestic site atop the 85 foot high Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel will be located close to the Kids Corner — celebrating its 12th installment at the festival. Led by Gabrielle Fugere and Andy “The Music Man” Morse, Kids Corner is a clean, green, strategically located scene – the ideal compromise between children’s need to have fun and play, and their parents’ desire to catch as much music as possible.
