As Sierra Ferrell’s debut headlining tour of the US draws to a close and she prepares to travel to the UK for a sold-out run of dates in January, she has announced a 42-city tour of the States that will get underway on February 17 in Memphis, TN and continue through early May. The tour will include stops in Phoenix, West Hollywood, San Francisco, Vancouver, Denver, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Nashville, Montreal, Toronto, New York City, Asheville, and Chicago. Tickets went on sale to the general public last Friday, 12/10, and many venues are already close to selling out.

Ferrell’s inaugural tour in support of her captivating Rounder debut Long Time Coming has been an unquestionable success, including more than 30 sold-out shows at venues across the country and appearances at multiple music festivals. A particular highlight for Ferrell was making her debut on the Grand Ole Opry, which was the fulfillment of a lifelong ambition.

Critical praise for Long Time Coming:

“At this point in her upward career trajectory, Ferrell’s name might someday be up on the Opry’s wall of fame, too.” – Forbes

“…it’s clear that no one, and I mean no one, is doing what Ferrell is doing, be it in her songwriting, arrangements, or delivery.” – No Depression

“The record is an expertly curated tapestry of melody, precise performance and playful intention. The thing that ties it all together is Ferrell’s vocal, which takes center stage. It’s powerful and incandescent, full of heartwarming tone and breathtaking vibrancy.” – The Line of Best Fit

“Part Billie Holiday and part Iris DeMent, it certainly isn’t your bog-standard off-the-shelf set of pipes, but she uses it to devastating effect.” – Country Music People

“Concocting a spellbinding mix of bluegrass, folk, old-time soul and gypsy jazz, Ferrell’s debut album, Long Time Coming, documents these places and the memories they hold – crafting a captivating compilation that covers life on her own and the self-discovery that has come in tow.” – Holler

“Ferrell’s new album is woozy and wonky, jubilant and joyous, curious and cautious in how much it will give, while still wanting you to know, know, know what its central character wants always to tell.” – American Songwriter

“…the buzziest indie-country debut of the year. Ferrell, who wrote or co-wrote all of the album’s 12 songs, takes a fleet-footed tour through country styles demonstrating remarkable range and musicality.” -PopMatters
