The Wood Brothers have announced an extensive fall 2021 tour. The 34-show trek kicks off this September and extends through December comprised by four individual legs that stop in Texas, the Midwest, West Coast and Southeast. Highlights along the way include a rescheduled performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Lake Street Dive, which is already sold out, a return to The Fox Theater in Oakland, CA, the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL and a two-night stint at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA to close out the run. The shows mark the first time the band will visit the majority of these cities since their acclaimed studio album ‘Kingdom In My Mind’ was released in January 2020. The Nashville-based three-piece had to cut their tour short on the West Coast in March 2020 with the onset of Covid-19. Tickets go on-sale Friday, June 18 at 10am local with pre-sale available via Spotify Fans First on Wednesday, June 16. See the complete tour itinerary below.

“This will really be the first time we get to develop the material from ‘Kingdom In My Mind’ in a live setting,” says Oliver Wood. “We were only able to play about 20 shows surrounding the album’s release in January 2020 before we had to come off the road. So it’ll be exciting to finally share these songs and see how they evolve over a good long stretch of dates.”

The Wood Brothers kept busy through downtime with a series of livestream performances dubbed ‘Musical Squares’ and the long-awaited 2-LP vinyl reissue of their their 2013 modern classic, ‘The Muse.’ Additionally, Oliver Wood released his debut solo album, ‘Always Smilin” in May 2021, which American Songwriter called, “a wonderful side road and a perfect addition to The Wood Brothers’ already diverse and consistently delightful catalog.”

The Wood Brothers have played a handful of shows this spring and begin another short stretch of dates in August with select appearances in the Northeast and Midwest, including Beak & Skiff in Lafayette, NY with Valerie June, Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA and Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL.
