WinterWonderGrass 2020 is on the horizon and the festival is excited to share the official daily schedule for their Vermont edition, taking place April 10 & 11 at Stratton Resort in Manchester, VT. The placement of this year’s festival coincides with the end of the ski and snowboard season at the resort, and WinterWonderGrass plans to bring one heck of party to the mountain’s base to close out the year. Cabinet is also set to make their first performance post-hiatus over the weekend.

Additionally, starting on Tuesday, February 11th, WinterWonderGrass plans to release a limited quantity of single-day tickets and weekend GA passes will move to tier 2 pricing the same day. Tickets and more info available at: http://bit.ly/2n9OWWd.

“WinterWonderGrass continues to honor the pillars of bluegrass while creating space for the evolution of the genre to flourish. I feel this lineup speaks to that ethos,” remarks festival founder, Scotty Stoughton. “I’m super excited to see first time bands like Twisted Pine take our stage and welcome back local favorites, Saints & Liars. I’m humbled Cabinet is coming out of hiatus to perform at WinterWonderGrass and it’s always a pleasure to watch The Infamous Stringdusters and Della Mae take the stage.”

Gates open at 1:45 PM each day during the two-day music festival, with music beginning at 2:00 PM. Pickin’ Perch and the Main Stage will see alternating sets for two days of nonstop music. As with past iterations of WinterWonderGrass, complimentary beer tastings will be held for all attendees aged 21+ from 2:00-5:00 PM each day throughout the event. Two of WinterWonderGrass’s local brewery and cider partners for 2020 include Fiddlehead Brewing Company out of Shelburne, VT and Burlington’s Citizen Cider.

Dead Winter Carpenters kicks off music on the Main Stage at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 10th. Massachusetts-locals, Twisted Pine, directly follows for a set on the Pickin’ Perch stage in between Main Stage performances, with Damn Tall Buildings taking the Main Stage at 3:40 PM. Twisted Pine returns to the Pickin’ Perch stage before Che Apalache takes the Main Stage at 5:20 PM. Directly following, Della Mae—the GRAMMY-nominated, all-female string band—performs their first of two sets on the Pickin’ Perch stage, followed by a Main Stage performance from Montana-based string band, Kitchen Dwellers, at 7:10 PM. Della Mae returns for another set between Main Stage shows before Cabinet closes out Friday’s Main Stage from 9:10-10:30 PM for their first performance since returning from hiatus.

On Saturday, Vermont-locals, Saints and Liars, open up the Main Stage at 2:00 PM and Damn Tall Buildings returns for the first of two performances on the Pickin’ Perch stage. Saturday also sees Twisted Pine take the Main Stage for an hour-long set at 3:40 PM, followed by a special performance entitled Andy Falco & Travis Book Play The Music of Jerry Garcia. Saturday also sees the return of Della Mae, this time performing on the Main Stage from 5:20-6:20 PM. Dead Winter Carpenters return for one final WinterWonderGrass performance on the Pickin’ Perch stage, followed by WinterWonderGrass newcomer Molly Tuttle, who headlines the Main Stage from 7:10-8:20 PM. The collaborative WinterWonderWomen close out the Pickin’ Perch stage directly following Tuttle, with The Infamous Stringdusters closing out both the Main Stage and the festival from 9:10-10:30 PM.
