Surrounding Turkuaz’s return to the Centennial state around their four-night New Year’s Eve run, the band has announced a partnership with non-profit organization Leaving a Positive Legacy to end the year on a good note.
On Monday, December 30th, members of Turkuaz will head to Food Bank Of The Rockies for a Day Of Service, and fans are encouraged to join in. Spots are limited, but those interested should sign up at: bit.ly/Turkuaz_DayOfService. Registration is open through December 17th while spots remain.
DAY OF SERVICE DETAILS
Date: Monday, December 30th
Time: 12:15-3:30 PM
Location: 10700 E 45th Ave, Denver, CO 80239

In addition to the Day Of Service, along the Colorado run of shows—which sees performances at Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, two nights at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco and a New Year’s Eve performance at Boulder Theater in Boulder—Turkuaz and Positive Legacy are giving fans the chance to “Stuff A Bag,” and engage with their favorite non-profit organizations in their own local markets. At each of the shows along the run, Positive Legacy will have tote bags available for interested fans to fill with donations for a non-profit organization of their choice, encouraging involvement in their respective local communities. Participants will be entered for a chance to win a $1,000 grant from Positive Legacy to donate to their chosen organization. Contest details will be released on Turkuaz’s Facebook page in the weeks to follow.
“Positive Legacy is very excited to embark on this partnership with Turkuaz,” shares Positive Legacy Organizational Development Director, Christine Campbell. “It has been a goal of ours as an organization to effect change and create more impact domestically. Working with bands to give back while on tour seemed like a natural progression and we are thrilled to have Turkuaz as our first -ever Artist Ambassadors for Good!”
While Positive Legacy has traditionally done most of their non-profit work outside of the country, working with festivals like Jam Cruise, Strings & Sol and Panic en la Playa, Turkuaz is the first band in the Artist Ambassadors for Good program which aims to engage bands and their fans while on the road.
Stay tuned for additional initiative announcements between Positive Legacy and Turkuaz throughout 2020.
