Andrew Combs will close out a successful year of touring with shows in Southeastern US in December, and will kick off 2019 returning to Europe in January and February 2019, including the venerable Celtic Connections festival. Tickets will be on sale for all shows this Friday.
Combs is touring supporting the release of 5 Covers & A Song, the aptly named EP that showcases songs that have had an impact on him at different points in his life. The release includes interpretations of songs by The Strokes, Radiohead, Blake Mills, Lucinda Williams, and Loudon Wainwright III.

Combs, who has been described as “one of Nashville’s most poetically gifted young singer-songwriters” by NPR Music has recently been exploring another form of artistic expression. Beginning October 25 a selection of Combs’ artwork will be displayed at Nashville’s White Avenue Studio. Says Combs about his newfound love of visual art, “I feel like I have taken a deep plunge into this world. I can’t stop studying painting. I have so much to learn. I literally dream about it.”
White Avenue Studio is located at 2517 White Avenue in Nashville’s Berry Hill neighborhood. The show will also feature visual art by prolific nature photographer Byron Jorjorian, and Wendy Walker Silverman.
