The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon shared Jim James’ Cover Room web exclusive performance of Sly and the Family Stone’s “Everyday People,” that was recorded backstage when James appeared on the show two weeks ago. James visited the show to perform “Over and Over” from his recently released album, Uniform Clarity, which comprises acoustic renditions of the songs originally found on Uniform Distortion along with two new tracks, available now via ATO here. For both performances, James was joined by The Resistance Revival Chorus, a collective of women who come together to sing protest songs in the spirit of joy and resistance.
