Forster Anderson grew up behind the iconic Rock & Roll venue, Hopetoun Hotel in Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia. Exposed to a grungy Rock & Roll music scene from a young age, Forster picked up his first guitar at age 10 in hopes to follow in the footsteps of many in the artistic suburb.
In his debut solo EP, “Banter”, Forster Anderson has created a unique concoction of Rock & Roll and Country with a twist of Folk. Regularly compared to Bob Dylan and Paul Kelly, Forster Anderson’s songwriting is filled with heart & heartbreaks, playful lyrics and catchy melodies to keep you hooked. With a solid library of original tunes in the bank,Forster Anderson is ready to share his sound. His natural delivery and outgoing attitude is a breath of fresh air in the current music scene. A musician’s musician, Forster started his own record label ‘BantaRecords’ in 2014 to represent himself and a few friends’ bands.
