Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams recently announced his early winter tour plans, finding Keller in a variety of solo performances and creative collaborations.
First up, Keller performs as part of Phil Lesh & Friends for a very special run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on November 21 and 22. In December, find Keller on a short run of southwest shows in Tucson and Tempe, Arizona and Albuquerque, New Mexico with progressive funk band The Motet. Keller will wrap up the year with Leftover Salmon for a special New Year’s run at The Vic in Chicago on December 30th and 31st, where Keller will perform with his six-piece funk outfit More Than A Little on the 30th and solo (with sit ins with Leftover Salmon) on the 31st.
Keller Williams recently released DOS, the second Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass album (and 3rdincluding his solo release KEYS) to benefit Rex Foundation, the charitable non-profit organization started by the Grateful Dead. Culled from the live recording of “Nightfall of Diamonds”- A Benefit for the Rex Foundation at The Fillmore in San Francisco on December 7, 2013, DOS features Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass with Keller (guitar), Michael Kang (violin), Jeff Austin (mandolin), and Keith Moseley (bass) performing not-so-traditional bluegrass versions of beloved Grateful Dead songs. Among the ten tracks – “Jack Straw,” “High Time,” “Sampson and Delilah,” and “Althea.” DOS is available for digital purchase now at nugs.net with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit The Rex Foundation.
