Marco Benevento is hitting the road with Dave Dreiwitz (Ween) on bass and Andy Borger (Tom Waits) on drums in support of his new studio album ‘Swift’ out 9/16. Produced by Richard Swift (Foxygen, The Shins), this is the first album ever to feature vocals by Marco, with lyrics he wrote in consultation with Ween’s Aaron Freeman (aka Gene Ween).
Marco delivers energetic shows that command his audience to the dance floor. Watch him close out Pickathon (for the 2nd year running) to a massive crowd just a couple weeks ago:https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10153083872982846
The tour promises to be “the perfect soundtrack for a sweaty late night dance party” (Jambase). Watch Marco’s craft in action for his “At The Show” video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxIPkKInygA and find tour dates below or here: http://marcobenevento.com/
