Nashville based singer-songwriters Ben and Emily Roberts, better known as the duo Carolina Story, are pleased to premiere the first episode of their “Folktales & Lullabies” video series today exclusively on Daily Parent (DailyParent.com).
Following the release of Chapter One last year, Carolina Story recently announced the start of a new chapter in their own lives with the addition of a new “band member.” Ben and Emily are expecting their first child this fall and will be sharing their wondrous journey to parenthood with their subscribers and followers while balancing a troubadour life on the road. Daily Parent will publish this ongoing video series beginning today and continuing into 2015, covering varying topics from pregnancy and parenting issues to the birth and early moments in the new family’s life.
The vision for “Folktales & Lullabies” is being brought to life through the direction of Nashville-based videographer Bobby Wolff. Wolff says, “When I was approached to produce this project, the decision was easy. Carolina Story are extremely talented, kind-hearted people and I am a huge fan of their music. Ben and Emily’s perseverance to build a career in music, while starting a family, is enough to inspire anyone to live out their dreams.”
In conjunction with the first episode premiere, Carolina Story is offering a free download of “When I Was Just A Boy” as a preview to their new album, Chapter Two, which is currently in the Top 5 most added on the Americana radio chart. The download code is offered to all viewers following the video and can be redeemed at www.carolinastory.com. “When I Was Just A Boy” will also be the subject of a music video captured over the course of Emily’s pregnancy and the official music video will be released as part of the “Folktales & Lullabies” series. For viewers who may have a few parenting tips and tricks of their own to share, Ben and Emily will be welcoming any and all advice as they enter the parenting world for the first time.
The father-to-be, Ben Roberts, recently said, “We’re so excited for people to hear these songs on Chapter Two.
