The inaugural Phases Of The Moon Music + Art Festival announces Phase II of artists scheduled to perform at the September 11-14 event. The Phase II lineup includes, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Railroad Earth, Vintage Trouble, Donavon Frankenreiter, Sam Bush Band, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Martin Sexton (two sets), Kung Fu, The California Honeydrops (two sets), Toubab Krewe, Poor Man’s Whiskey (two sets), The Brothers Comatose, Cornmeal (two sets), The Steepwater Band, Mingo Fishtrap, Futurebirds, Go Down Moses, Moon Hooch, The Dawn, Abnormous, Naked Rock Fight, The Harmaleighs, A Live One, Steady Flow, Flatland Harmony Experiment, Ernie Hendrickson Band, Kevin Bilchik, The Brothers, Kasey Burton, Boat Drink Caucus (featuring actual state legislators) and The Moonrise Gospel Brunch.
The Phase II artists join an already impressive lineup that includes, Widespread Panic (two nights), Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gov’t Mule, Leon Russell, Galactic, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Jackie Greene, Anders Osborne, Leftover Salmon with Bill Payne of Little Feat, Artist-In-Residence David Gans and many more. Phases Of The Moon is a four-day music, arts and camping event, thoughtfully curated to provide a unique festival experience for all. Phases Of The Moon boasts four outdoor stages: two alternating main stages and two smaller stages. While music remains the primary focus of Phases Of The Moon, the festival’s emphasis on art comes in as a close second. The Phases Of The Moon Music + Art Festival will take place September 11-14 at the 3000 acre Kennekuk County Park outside Danville, IL. The beautiful setting boasts several miles of hiking trails, scenic ponds, streams, wide-open spaces, lush canopies, a historic collection of turn-of-the-century buildings and the 170-acre Lake Mingo. The park is located within a short drive from a number of major metropolitan areas – 2.5 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Indianapolis, less than 1 hour from Champaign and about 3.5 hours from St. Louis.
