Bound to be a collector’s item, a limited run of The Lone Bellow/Brandi Carlile split 7″ orange vinyl will be released on November 29th in celebration of Record Store Day on Black Friday via Descendant Records. The split 7″ vinyl includes two tracks from fan favorites during the time the bands toured together. The release features Brandie Carlile’s, “Raise Hell” and The Lone Bellow’s, “You Never Need Nobody” and will be available on Black Friday through an indie retail store near you. Fans can click HERE to find the record store near their homes to pick up this limited edition release on Nov. 29th.
The Lone Bellow’s, “You Never Need Nobody” was filmed and recorded live this year at Paste Magazine’s, SXSW party in Austin.
Zach Williams, lead singer of The Lone Bellow says, “Working with Brandi was like being on a family road trip across the country. She and her band are as kind and as caring as they are talented. We were honored to be out with them.”
He continues, “The Paste show was one of 17 shows we did at SXSW this year. They gave us good, free beer – even though it was only 10am. Despite the fact that we wore way too many vests during our shows, Paste believes in us, and we are grateful!”
The Lone Bellow are currently out on a headlining tour with Aoife O’Donovan, and Ivan & Aloysha. The band will perform on The Late, Late show with Craig Ferguson on Dec. 13th, and will be featured as stand-out performers on PBS’ “Nashville 2.0: The Rise of Americana” on Dec. 22nd.
