Greensky’s commitment to the road is a way of life as much as a recipe for success, one that’s won them over fans and sold-out shows across the country. As they get ready to set off on a Midwest to West Coast tour which sees their first headline date at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco, with Sam Bush as a featured guest; they reveal that April and May will be spent touring through New England, to the South, and then back north to the Midwest. The band has also announced the first of many festival appearances this summer at the Dark Star Jubilee, Electric Forest, Northwest String Summit and more.
The Michigan quintet took a short break from touring last month to record the follow up to 2011’s critically acclaimed album, Handguns, tentatively scheduled for a summer release. Whether recorded or playing live, critics have taken notice too, with Rolling Stone declaring “they’re representing the genre for a whole new generation.”
