Austin Psych Fest, the undisputed epicenter of post-millennial psychedelic rock, is thrilled to announce additions to its 2013 lineup. Since its inception, Austin Psych Fest has presented legendary heroes from across the psych rock pantheon alongside today’s established and emerging vanguards in pysch music. Together, these artists showcase mind-bending music reflecting the ongoing creative cycle of influence and innovation born in the 1960s. With the addition of artists such as The Moving Sidewalks featuring Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top (one of only two reunion shows scheduled), Os Mutantes, Roky Erickson, Silver Apples, and Kaleidescope, this year’s festival brings the genre’s trailblazers in conversation with the artists on the forefront of today’s psych movement.
