Following the success of sold out shows in New York and Los Angeles, The Best Fest, proudly sponsored by its favorite spirit Jameson® Irish Whiskey, is excited to bring Petty Fest, for the first time ever, to The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA on February 27.  Tickets are now available for purchase HERE.

Petty Fest, “A Night To Celebrate The Music of Tom Petty,” will feature special performances by Nick Valensi of The Strokes, Boz Scaggs, Chuck Prophet, Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brothers, Tim Bluhm of The Mother Hips, Nicki Bluhm, Matt Sorum & Ace Harper, Butch Walker, Ryan Miller of Guster, Jesse Malin, Har Mar Superstar, Jenny O., Jody Porter of Fountains of Wayne, Ewan Currie of The Sheepdogs and Howlin Rain, along with many more surprise guests who will all be backed by the legendary Cabin Down Below Band on stage.

Spotlighted by VH1Rolling Stone, and LA Weekly for its impressive lineup and stellar performances and hailed a “resounding success” by The Hollywood Reporter, the Petty Fest concert series will expand to San Francisco this February for the very first time, thanks to Jameson® Irish Whiskey’s involvement. Jameson has also made it possible for The Best Fest to donate all of the ticket proceeds to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a charity that provides financial assistance to musicians facing illness or disability.

“The Fests are the perfect embodiment of everything a Jameson night should be – great friends coming together to celebrate and raise a glass to our musical heroes.  With Jameson already a huge part of the rehearsals and performances, we are truly excited to have their support to grow the Fests nationwide,” said Alex Levy, Fest founder.

“The Fests started in the same close-knit NYC East Village and Lower East Side bartender/musician community that adopted Jameson as their drink of choice back in the early 90s,” said Jeffrey Moran, Vice President, Public Relations, Events and Lifestyle Marketing.  “After a successful first stop, Jameson is looking forward to supporting and preserving this event to the West Coast and ensuring it is taken to more cities, musicians and Jameson fans.”

Over the past decade, The Best Fest – including Dylan Fest and Stones Fest – has welcomed global superstars like Kings of Leon, Ke$ha, The Black Keys, The Strokes, Cyndi Lauper, Norah Jones and The Killers alongside developing artists including Dawes, Delta Spirit, Alberta Cross, The Sheepdogs, Cory Chisel and Nicole Atkins. It has also embraced actors and comedians such as Johnny Depp, Kristen Wiig, Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis, Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat.

Artists and line-up subject to change without notice.
