The Austin Psych Fest is excited to announce its initial lineup. The sixth annual festival will be held April 26 – 28, 2013 at Carson Creek Ranch, a scenic 58-acre ranch on the banks of the Colorado River, just five minutes from downtown Austin, TX, and minutes from the airport. Discounted weekend passes are on sale now.

There will be another round of lineup announcements in January, including additional headliners and a selection of psych bands from around the world. The festival schedule along with day tickets will be available in March.
Austin Psych Fest is also excited to announce that the official DVD of the 2012 event will be available in January. Pre-orders for it can be placed now. Fans can get the DVD for a discounted price when they buy a 2013 festival weekend pass. The film, produced by Alta Real Pictures and directed by Oswald James with live audio mixed and recorded by Elevation Reservation, features 90 minutes of festival footage and highlight performances from the festivals fifth anniversary celebration, including appearances by The Cosmonauts, Acid Baby Jesus, Disappears, Psychic Ills, Dead Meadow, The Black Angels, Spindrift, Woods, Entrance Band, The Telescopes, The Black Lips, The Ufo Club, Bombino, Thee Oh Sees, Meat Puppets and Brian Jonestown Massacre.
