One weekend of bluegrass & blues isn’t enough for the endless Chicago winter.  Now in its fourth year, CBB Fest will host over 50 bands throughout December and January upon iconic Chicago stages.

Not to be outdone by their dad’s Bill Monroe tribute jam alongside David “Dawg” Grisman, The Travelin’ McCourys have added String Cheese Incident’s Bill Nershi and Yonder Mountain’s Jeff Austin to their “Bluegrass Ball” jam during CBB Fest’s 1/21 date with the Auditorium Theater. These back-to-back throw-downs to close out the evening’s festivities will certainly include other collaborators, so keep an ear out.  Plus, the Henhouse Prowlers have also been added to the mainstage bill.

As previously announced, CBB Fest will return to Congress Theater the following weekend on January 28th for another three-stage foray into sensory overload.  Updated lineups below!
