Trombone Shorty & his electrifying six-piece band, Orleans Avenue – barely catching their breath after a five-continent tour in support of Grammy-nominated ‘Backatown’ – have plotted another worldwide trek timed with the release of their new album, ‘For True,’ out September 13 on Verve Forecast.
‘For True’ features special guest appearances by many of the musicians Andrews has shared the stage with including Jeff Beck, Kid Rock, Ledisi, Warren Haynes, Ivan and Cyril Neville, The Rebirth Brass Band and more.
Trombone Shorty has toured endlessly since the release of his Grammy-nominated 2010 album ‘Backatown.’ Playing everywhere from Bonnaroo to a star-studded concert at Brooklyn’s Academy of Music that he curated. Other recent live highlights include, Austin City Limits Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival and more.
