Trey Anastasio Band Added to Bear Creek Music Festival

Big IV Productions’ Bear Creek Music & Art Festival is pleased to announce the addition of headliner Trey Anastasio Band to the upcoming 2011 fest set for November 10-13. Additional performers announced today are George Porter Jr. & The Runnin’ Pardners, Russell Batiste Band, Honey Island Swamp Band and Corporal Boil as well as a list of Artists At Large including Will Bernard, Freekbass, Topaz and more. Also of note, legendary artist Stanley Mouse, best known for his work with the Grateful Dead, will be creating this year’s official poster.

Complete ticket and lineup details, including which bands are performing twice during the weekend, are available below. These artists join the already amazing lineup that includes Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood, Galactic, The Funky Meters, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Soulive, Big Gigantic, The New Mastersounds, Anders Osborne Trio, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Skerik, Fred Wesley, Hairy Apes BMX, The Trio (Porter, Vidacovich, Hartswick), Chali 2’na Band, The Coup featuring Boots Riley, Zach Deputy and many more. Offering more than 50 bands on 6 stages, Bear Creek Music and Art Festival will satisfy music fans of every type from rock, funk and jam to jazz, hip-hop and world fusion.

Having been around for half a decade, the Bear Creek Music & Art Festival has a long, established history as an intimate, affordable, hassle-free festival experience with top notch artists. Committed to the community and environment, Bear Creek and Big IV Productions have helped lay the foundation for the now thriving South Florida music scene which will find festivals like Langerado returning in 2011 as well as other high-profile events taking form.

Tickets to the 5th annual Bear Creek Music & Art Festival are on sale now at wwww.bearcreekmusicfestival.com. Weekend tickets are available in three levels: Wednesday – Sunday, Thursday – Sunday and Friday – Sunday and all weekend tickets include camping. Discount Early Bird Tickets are available until July 13 for $135, $175 and $195 respectively with ticket prices going up incrementally until the weekend of the festival. All 3 and 4 day tickets can be upgraded to extra days and/or VIP by calling the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park office at 386 364-1683. There is no financial penalty for upgrading ticket. All weekend passes include camping, taxes and all fees.
