Warren Haynes will celebrate the release of his soul-inspired new album ‘Man In Motion’ at New York’s Beacon Theatre on May 12 with special guest and Stax recording legend William Bell. ‘Man In Motion’ will be released May 10 on Stax/Concord Music Group. Rolling Stone says that “Warren Haynes channels James Brown” on the new album and included ‘Man In Motion’ in their spring music preview of “hottest albums.”
At the Beacon and on tour, Warren will be accompanied live by a hand-picked band that includes R&B kingpins Ron Johnson on bass, Terence Higgins on drums, Nigel Hall on keyboards, Ron Holloway on saxophone and Grammy-nominated Ruthie Foster on background vocals.
