After sharing a bill at The Wiltern in LA this month, The Low Anthem will join Iron Wine on the road for two weeks in April. Before that, the band will embark on a headlining tour in support of its forthcoming album, ‘Smart Flesh’ (2/22, Nonesuch), including a performance at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom March 8.
Last week, The Low Anthem took New York City by storm.
On January 11 they previewed several tracks from ‘Smart Flesh’ on WNYC’s Soundcheck: http://bit.ly/dYSz9O.
The next night they showcased their lush, four-part harmonies on Letterman with a stirring rendition of the new song “Ghost Woman Blues”: http://bit.ly/dG3rCF.
They wrapped it all up on Thursday with a sold-out show at Lincoln Center’s Allen Room, called “breathtaking” by Brooklyn Vegan: http://bit.ly/hWz4uK.
