As TAUK winds down their jam-packed, funk-filled unforgettable fall 2021 Chaos Companion Tour, the electro-prog ensemble have shared their rendition of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” live from The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC at their October 9th show.
The show in Asheville also featured TAUK’s new, original and fan favorite, “The Let Out,” expertly shot and edited by Tim McG and audio recorded and mixed by Devin Runco.
In addition to the new cover, TAUK is excited to hit the stage with support from LITZ in Charlottesville, VA on October 30th and in Falls Church, VA, in costume, for a special “TAUK in Space” event on October 31st, the live iteration of the band’s “Moon Dub” video set on the moon. Fans are highly encouraged to come in costume as both nights will include a costume contest with lucky winners receiving a signed tour poster and CBD gummies.
While the tour comes to a close this weekend, fans outside of Nashville, TN are invited to tune into the October 29th show at The Basement East with support from Three Star Revival via livestream with Dreamstage here: dreamstage.live/show/tauk.
The band is looking forward to treating fans to various covers for the remaining dates and looks toward the new year for more surprises and material. “Tour has been flying by. We can’t believe we’re already in the last week,” shares the band. “Turns out after all this time off the road, playing live shows is still the best thing out. We came equipped with a bunch of new originals thrown into the mix and also have been sprinkling in some new covers.”
